Dublin, Ireland, 12th December 2008: Recession does not come into it for this lady! Having been laid off during the 2002 Dot.com collapse, Mary founded Product Innovator Ltd, grown it to a successful company and is now the 2008 Dublin City Female Entrepreneur of the Year. Using the knowledge gained as Product Manager in IONA Technologies and advice from entrepreneurs such as Chris Horn ( IONA founder), she took the leap to start a business in a down turn and hasn't looked back since.

According to Mary, “In late 2002, when I started my business, the technology sector was experiencing a major downturn, despite other areas of the economy doing well. Our target audience was the technology sector. While the early years were challenging on many fronts, the business has survived and prospered, and 2008 has been a great year financially for the company, despite the economic doom and gloom portrayed constantly in the media.”
